Charles and I were the first ones off, just the two of us. I haven’t played in 3 weeks so I didn’t keep score, the temps at tee-off was ~80 degrees, and hit about 90 by 18. Finished in 2 hours, 25 minutes.
The course was wet, as usual in the mornings, and the rough was LONG. The greens had been aerated within the last couple of days, and were VERY bumpy, every putt was a bit of a crapshoot.
THE POSITIVES:
Irons: I hit them pretty well today, especially not having played in 3+ weeks
Putter: The greens were terrible, but I felt like I had good speed and lines for the most part
Wedges: Pretty decent lines, distance was a bit hard to control with the rough and the wetness
3 Wood: Good balls on #1, #9.
Driver: Good Drives on #4, #5, #7, #10, #11, #13, #16 (drove green)
BEST SHOTS: #8: 9 iron to 3 feet / #13: Driver to 170 yards out / #16: Driver to ~15 feet
THE NEGATIVES:
Driver: Hit one way right: OB on #2, second ball also right, about 3 yards from the fence
Driver: Hit one right: Lost on #12
Driver: Hit one a little right on #18
WORST SHOTS: Driver on #2, OB right
