INSPIRATIONS
9:22pm, and I just watched a video of photographer Andrew Moore on Youtube. I’m not familiar with him, but I’m sure he’s famous to people who know anything about famous photographers, I am not one of them. Why am I not? Not sure, but anyway, I really like his use of color, I guess it’s sort of his calling card? As he talks about his process, he says:
“Do something everyday for your art, whether it was make a picture, make a print, go see a movie, get a book I hadn’t seen before, have a conversation with somebody I hadn’t met… It’s a discipline, it’s a practice”
Note to self to look up more of his work…
I was hit with the sudden feeling that I’m missing out on life, I’ve been so absorbed with the job, and worrying about the future, and the money, I’m not really having any sort of adventure, or spending any time finding the beauty in the world. This needs to change, while I have some energy to pursue it. I’m feeling a little locked down and isolated and I’m not in love with it.
OTHER EVENTS
We had some plumbers in today to fix the valve on the water line behind the fridge, and install a pair of faucets in the primary bathroom. Now that we have a functioning valve, we can get the Costco peeps in to install the new fridge that is holding court in the gameroom currently.
WEEKEND
Walker is heading to Oklahoma on Thursday for a girls trip for the weekend, Broken Arrow I think? Should be fun for her, hope she feels better. I’m already thinking about which project to tackle while she’s gone.

- Something else that I haven’t thought of?
PHOTOS
Haven’t taken any photos in the last few days, ( see section 1 above ) but this is from last week. I want to redo it with more of the logs in the same plane of focus, and probably black and white, but this isn’t so bad I guess.
